The PWI-P can be used independently in various automatic weighing applications, laboratories, testing devices, and systems for weighing, filling, unloading, dosing, and bagging of tanks. Additionally, it supports a variety of industrial input and output options for communication with APIs, computers, and other systems.

The user selects the associated program from the menu, and the indicator loads the necessary settings into its memory.
